Petroleum Minister Tareq el Molla met Friday with a delegation of the Petroleum and Gas Committee at the American Chamber of Commerce in Cairo (AmCham) to discuss future plans in fields of mutual interest.
Molla, in statements, stressed the importance of cooperation and strategic partnership between the petroleum sector and foreign partners with the aim to develop the oil and gas industry in Egypt and to implement common goals.
Such cooperation was one of the factors of the successful international climate summit, COP27, last year, the minister noted.
Molla praised the important role played by AmCham’s Petroleum and Gas Committee, which serves as a platform for dialogue and exchanging views.
