Egypt is gearing up for a substantial expansion of its oil and gas production capabilities by embarking on an ambitious plan to drill multiple new wells within the Zohr gas field over the course of 2024 and 2025. This significant endeavour was officially announced by the government as part of its strategy to bolster the nation’s energy sector.
The primary objectives of this undertaking are multifaceted. Firstly, the government aims to substantially increase the production of oil and gas within the Zohr field.
