Construction of the jetty for the Natural Gas Infrastructure Co. of Cyprus’s (ETYFA) LNG terminal near Vasilikos on the country’s southern coast has begun. Work is now expected to be complete in October 2023 instead of June 2023, according to the Cyprus News Agency (CNA).
ETYFA’s contractor on the project is a consortium of China Petroleum Pipeline Engineering Co. Ltd., Metron Energy Applications SA, Hudonzg-Zhonghua Shipbuilding Co. Ltd., and Whilhemsen Ship Management Ltd. Other work will include a surface pipeline to Vasilikos Power Station and gas storage at the delivery point.
