Petroleum Minister Tarek Al Molla said on Tuesday13/12/2022 Egypt is backed by a big base of global partners in the field of exploring natural gas and crude oil in the Mediterranean, the eastern and western deserts.
In an interview with MENA, Molla pointed to an overcrowded exploratory map, which includes drilling and exploration works in the coming two years based on the successes achieved in this domain.
As a regional hub for gas export, Egypt has a strategic role in developing gas in the East Mediterranean region in the coming period, Molla noted, referring to Egypt’s efforts to maximize its logistic role in handling petroleum products in the coming period.
